I’m delighted to welcome three new PhD students to my research group! ✨

Together with Lucie Rezková, Silvie Hendrychová, and Mayuri Singh, we are embarking on a four-year journey of research, discovery, challenges, and growth. I’m very much looking forward to seeing their ideas develop, supporting them along the way, and learning from each other throughout this exciting chapter. Welcome to the team. I’m excited for the journey ahead!

The past few days have been truly unforgettable. First, my heartfelt congratulations to Jan Chasák on successfully defending his PhD. Then, just one day later, he received the Third Prize in Chemistry at the Jean-Marie Lehn Prize, presented by Nobel Laureate Jean-Marie Lehn at the French Embassy. As a PhD supervisor, I could not be prouder. One of the greatest privileges in academia is to accompany young researchers on their scientific journey, to support them, challenge them, and watch them grow into confident, independent scientists. It has been an absolute pleasure to witness Jan’s development into an excellent researcher whose dedication and hard work have now been recognized on such a prestigious stage. Moments like these remind me why mentoring the next generation of scientists is so rewarding. Congratulations again, Jan. It has been an honor to be part of your journey, and I am excited to see what the future holds for you. I have no doubt that this is only the beginning.
